Happy weekend! This will pass. Smile! :)

Hey all,

It’s the weekend. Let’s indulge in some super yummy food, anything that makes us happy. :) I’m looking at Yoghurt, Char Siew Bun, milk tea, sashimi and Singapore Fried Bee Hoon. :)

After that, join me in some simple indoor exercises. I’ll be doing 3 sets of sit-ups first, each with 30 reps (if you are starting out, try 10 to 15 reps).

Then we’ll do some squats to burn off those cellulite – try 3 sets of squats too. If you are game for more, go ahead and do some Upper Body strength exercises, such as bicep curl. Here’s a post that shows you the videos on how to do the exercises.

By now, endorphins should be released into your body to make you chirpy and energized!

But you must be feeling thirsty after all those workout. How about we quench our thirst with vitamin-C rich fruits to boost our immunity? Here’s what I have in my fridge – oranges, kiwis and green apples. If you have the time, try an exotic fruit blend. I’m too lazy, so I’ll just have an orange. :)

What do we do next? How about we give ourselves pretty nails? I’ll be doing a DIY gel manicure, and make sure they are adorned with nice bling bling to lift the spirit. This should take me at least an hour.

If you are not crazy over manicure, try a sheet mask. Relax and read a book while waiting or think about what your next travel destination would be.

By now, I should be feeling hungry. I would likely venture out to some non-crowded places to get a good local meal. Or maybe, I can consider a takeaway if seats aren’t quite easily available or malls are hard to get into (due to the latest social distancing measures). I may even do a night picnic at a park, with my dearest.

There, we would chit chat about our favourite topics – current affairs, financial markets, global economy and Donald Trump. :)

While things may seem gloomy for now, this will pass. This is what life is all about – full of ups and downs.

But we know that what goes down must come up. Whatever we are facing right now aren’t going to be permanent.

The greatest thing about human is how well we can adapt to situation.

This bug will be killed – it’s only a matter of time.

In the meantime, we’ll learn how to cope and not let the bug affect ours or our loved ones’ health.

We’ll wait for the bug to die a natural death or for the vaccine to be out.

Oh…I can’t wait to travel again! :)
