In my latest shopping spree, I picked up quite a few Curel skincare products and I’m happy to share my review of Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream.
If you are looking for an eye cream that’s gentle enough for dry, sensitive skin and offers great value, read on!

What does Curel Eye Cream promise?
Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream is the latest Curel product I’ve tried and it claims to:
- Hydrate the skin area to relieve dryness
- Visibly reduce fine lines
- Provide long-lasting hydration
After using it for a month, I’m ready to share what I love (and what I dislike) about this Japan-made eye cream.

What’s great about Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream?
1. Concentrated: Great bang for the buck
Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream stood out with its concentrated texture. I discovered just how concentrated it was when I accidentally left the eye cream resting on its side for days.
Despite the position, the cream stayed perfectly in place (against the pull of gravity and not shifting towards the cap).
The concentrated formula also means you only need a small amount each time, which makes the eye cream a great bang for the buck.

2. Buttery-smooth texture
Another thing that stood out is the smooth, buttery texture. Curel eye cream glides effortlessly across the delicate eye area, making application easy and frictionless.
3. Eye makeup stayed put
In case you are worried that the concentrated and buttery-smooth texture may work against the longevity of eye makeup, don’t worry. My eye makeup sat well and didn’t run.
4. Long-lasting nourishment
Curel claimed that the cream offers long-lasting hydration, and it’s true. The eye area feels comfortable for hours, including after a long night’s sleep in an air-conditioned environment.
5. Travel-friendly
Curel eye cream doesn’t beautify itself with unnecessary (and heavy) packaging. It’s so simple and light – you can just toss it into your travel toiletry bag without having to transfer the cream into a smaller container.

6. Pure ingredients
Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream is free of alcohol, fragrance and colour. It is also pH balanced and dermatologist tested.
So if you have sensitive skin, this eye cream can help you avoid potential irritants.

7. Generous quantity
I’ve spoken about how lightweight the packaging feels. Even then, I was pleasantly surprised that it contains 25 grams of product, almost 70% more than the industry norm (of 15 grams).
What’s not so great about Curel eye cream?
1. No fanciful packaging
If you’re someone who enjoys pretty, luxurious-looking skincare packaging, Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream may leave you a little underwhelmed.
The jar is so light it almost felt like a toy! It definitely doesn’t have the heft or luxe feel of some high-end eye creams that come in weighty jars.

2. For basic eye care only
Many beauty brands offer different eye creams for different concerns, such as dark circles, puffiness or fine lines.
However, Curel offers only one type of eye product, which is to treat dry and sensitive skin.
Recommendation: Should you buy Curel Eye Cream?
Are you looking for an eye cream that offers good and lasting hydration? Do you have dry and/or sensitive skin and prefer a product that is free from unnecessary add-ons?
If the answer is “yes”, you may love Curel Moisture Repair Eye Cream for its simple and effective formula. And not forgetting how long this jar of cream can last, given its concentrated formula. Rating: 4.5/5
