Hey there, sharing a review of Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette. Have you attempted to create “wò cán” (卧蚕) – the undereye puffiness that is so trendy these days? If you are also into this beauty craze, read on as this product can do the job easily.

About Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette
Judydoll is a popular makeup brand from China, founded in 2017. In recent years, they have also entered the Singapore market – you can find them in small boutique stores, Watsons or online marketplace.

The product we are reviewing today – Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette – is an eyeshadow meant to create illusion of puffiness under the eye. Known as “Aegyo sal” in Korea or 卧蚕 in Chinese, this refers to the “charming fat” made prominent when one smiles.
Not everyone is born with obvious charming fat. In my younger days, my mom used to say that men with one are “playboys”. Aaron Kwok has it – is he a playboy? I used to idolise him leh. :)
Comes in 2 variants
Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette comes in two colour variants – #001 Lively Pink or #002 Almond Beige.
In my recent trip to Shandong, China trip, the helpful sales assistant tested #001 Lively Pink” on me and I loved it.

How to use Judydoll Undereye Shadow

Now, let me share the pros and cons of this undereye shadow.
What’s great about Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette
1. Intuitive and easy to use
As a newbie to creating “charming fat”, I was surprised at how easy it was to create one with Judydoll Undereye Shadow.
On my first use, I didn’t even read any instructions (too lazy to Google) and simply applied the shades instinctively where I thought they should go. And it worked!
The first attempt was a success, which brings me to my next point.

2. Natural-looking
Even though I had never used an undereye shadow, I was able to create very natural-looking “charming fat” effect.
The shadow blended well, with no harsh or obvious outline, making it look flattering and yet subtle.

3. It really works!
I loved the results. Not only did the aegyo-sal look natural, it also brought out the “cute” and “youthful…or should I say…the “playgirl” vibe?
The Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette delivers and is effective at what it’s supposed to do.

4. Long-lasting wear
Another pleasant surprise was how well it lasted. The undereye shadow stayed in place throughout the day with minimal fading and smudging.

5. Affordable
I’d bought Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette at ¥39 in China. Right now, I see it retailing at about US$12 (with discount).
Should you buy Judydoll Undereye Shadow Palette?
If you’ve been curious about trying this trendy “fake eye bags” makeup effect, go ahead and get one to play with.
Judydoll Undereye Shadow is easy to use, even for beginners. And it’s affordable too.
I know I will definitely shop for more Judydoll makeup in my next China trip (coming up very soon by the way)! Rating: 5/5.
